A plastic ball ring is made by opening eight layers of rectangular small windows on the wall of a regular Rascal ring. The blades of the small windows overlap with each other in the ring, and the positions of the upper and lower windows overlap with each other. The main difference between it and Raschig ring packing is that it has rectangular window holes on the side walls, and the window blades of the holes are bent into the center of the ring. The opening of holes in the wall of the ring window greatly improves the distribution performance of gas and body compared to Raschig ring, and the inner surface area of the ring can be fully utilized by liquid.

Plastic Ball Ring has the advantages of high flux, low resistance, high separation efficiency, and high operational flexibility. Under the same pressure reduction, the processing capacity can be more than 50% larger than that of Lacy Ring. At the same processing capacity, pressure reduction can be reduced by half, and mass transfer efficiency can be improved by about 20%. Compared with Raschig ring, this type of packing has the characteristics of high production capacity, strong resistance, and high operational flexibility. In general, when the pressure drop is the same, it can be processed 50% -99% higher than Raschig ring. When the sample is processed, the pressure drop is 50% -70% lower than Raschig ring, and it can also be depressurized in the same tower. Using plastic Ball ring can save 20% -40% of packing volume compared to Raschig ring.


Polypropylene Bao'er ring packing is a type of perforated ring packing with equal height and diameter. Each layer of the window has five tongue blades, and each tongue blade is bent inward towards the center of the ring. The positions of the upper and lower layers of window holes are opposite and staggered. Generally, the opening area accounts for about 30% of the total area of the ring wall. Its shape and structure can be divided into inner ribs in the shape of a meter, known as plastic ball rings (meters); The inner reinforcement is in the shape of a well, called a plastic ball ring (well).


Plastic ball rings have the characteristics of high porosity, low pressure drop and mass transfer unit height, high flooding point, sufficient gas-liquid contact, low specific gravity, and high mass transfer efficiency. This structure improves the distribution of gas-liquid and fully utilizes the inner surface of the ring, allowing gases and liquids inside the packed tower to freely pass through the window.
